Hope feels more possible when someone shares the path they have walked.
a few clients have shared:
“Before I started working with Amber, I had almost constant lower back pain. I also had intermittent depression and struggled with expressing my true feelings in relationships especially if they were feelings like anger or sadness that I had been taught to block.
My back pain had been going on for over a year and I had lived my whole life up to this point holding back on my feelings.
I read the book “The Body Keeps the Score” and learned how healing yoga can be. I decided I would do it when the opportunity arose, then met Amber on a facebook group and reached out to her.
I chose to work with Amber specifically because she understood exactly where I was coming from.
She took a very personal interest in what areas I needed to work on.
One breakthrough moment was when I learned how to breathe effectively. It is a tool I can use anytime and anywhere.
The most obvious change in my life is the absence of pain. I sleep so much better because my back is not hurting if I wake up during the night. When I start feeling some stiffness in my neck or shoulder, I know exactly what practice I need to do to resolve it.
As far as being able to feel my own feelings and express them, that is still a work in progress. But I have tools now and I am okay with not being perfect.”

“13 years ago I enjoyed a fairly pain-free life. I ran a business, walked, saw friends, and traveled. Then I began experiencing hip, leg, and knee pain. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, disc compression, and severe osteoarthritis.
After years of doctors, physical therapy, medications, pain patches, and discussions about surgery, I met Amber and started Yoga Therapy. I was skeptical, but after about five sessions I felt the difference.
Practicing with Amber 2–3 times a week, my pain is gone, and I’ve saved several thousand dollars because I’m no longer paying for doctors, PT, medications, acupuncture, and so many other things I tried.
I knew the chronic pain was slowing down my life, but I didn’t realize it had also changed my outlook on life. Amber helped me physically, but she also helped me find my positive outlook again.
Amber gives you her total focus and years of experience—more than I experienced with any doctor or physical therapist.”

“My life has dramatically improved since I’ve met and have been working with Amber for only a little over four months now.
I’m on my way to working towards a fulfilling career, a brighter outlook on life, and making all of my dreams a reality.
I truly cannot say enough good things about working with this lovely lady. She is an inspiration and I hope one day I will be able to help people in such a significant way as she has been able to help me in my own life.”

“I have been a student of yoga with Amber for about 9 years now. The physical practice makes my body feel younger and stronger.
Our study of Grief allowed me to face it and deal with issues I wasn’t even aware were deep inside … and let go.
I don’t know what my future holds other than I will continue our practice several times a week until I am no longer alive. It means that much to my body and mind!”

“I cannot express enough the relief I have felt from no longer having constant migraines, and the improvements in my overhead strength and posture. I would highly recommend Amber and CAYA Yoga to anyone!”

“I’ve personally experienced the gift of hope and healing that Amber offers when my C5-C6 compressed discs in my neck made my entire right arm painful and numb. That’s my dominant hand which I use all day to create and work, to take care of home life. With a baby on the way too, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to even hold my own son when he was born.
Through Amber’s individual attention through my own personalized foundation practice I was able to end physical therapy early and avoid surgery. And this was all done ONLINE – from the convenience of my home!
Amber is amazing, and beyond her personalized support, the CAYA Yoga community is a beautiful place to belong and celebrate with other women who are on a healing journey too.
This is such a welcoming and supportive group of women who actually cheer each other on, notice when someone is missing, care about what happens off the mat, and truly believe greater healing happens in relationship with others in community.”
